Home town stint

IMAG0184

We’d not played in our home town in a while so it was time to show our faces.

First gig was a charity event at the Cotton Mill to help raise money for young Elliot who suffers from Cerebral Palsy. We opened the show with a new as-yet untitled tune based around a synth riff. Easter Sunday all-dayer so fair few intoxicated followers!

Next up was at Warrington’s premier venue: The Parr Hall – The Rolling Stones played there in the 60s. Harrynut Productions asked us last minute to play alongside few other bands and Mani and Clint Boon ended the night with a top dj set.

We finished off the home town stint at a place called Jam Venue, renowned for its good beer and raucous atmosphere. Couple of good Warrington groups went on before us. The stage was small and sweaty and we decided to throw in a few songs we hadn’t played in while (and a rendition of Whole Lotta Love).

Cheers to all those who helped organised the gigs, the bands we played with and obviously the people who came to watch.

Hi Franco, thanks for the compliments. New album is out in February and then we’ll be sorting a tour. Any highly recommended places to play in the North East?
